Women's Self Defence TipsMany martial arts do not rely on pure brute force but technique to win. Even the biggest fighters won’t be able to move if an adult is resting with their knees on back of the fighter’s locked shoulder. Many techniques are designed to target tender spots (or pressure points), use an opponent’s force against them, or place them in a position where they simply can’t do anything. For this reason, martial arts are ideal for women. Even if the techniques are not completed to “finish” the opponent, the first few steps are usually enough to break free of grips and holds, giving time to escape, run, or call for help. In general, it is recommended that you: •Use the element of surprise •Strike sensitive points •Use the hard part of your body (elbows, knees) •Quickly detach yourself from the situation Train with us to improve your senses, reflexes, awareness, and self-defence knowledge.
